Basic Chemical Industries Company (BCI), Saudi Arabia announces the signing of a contract for the expansion of the chlor-alkali plant in Jubail.
The contract was singed with ThyssenKrupp company. The value of the contract is EURO 14.7 million.
The contract involves the supply of know-how, engineering, equipment, spare parts, and advisory services for the erection, commissioning, startup, and performance tests of a chlor-alkali plant expansion using membrane technology. It includes a non-exclusive license for the buyer to use the delivered equipment and know-how.
The duration of the contract is 19 months.
