Al Madinah Regional Municipality, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP), announce the launch of the Expression of Interest (EOI) and Request for Qualification (RFQ) phase for the Joint Development Project in Sikkah Al Hadid.
This project will develop an 84,657-square-meter government-owned site in the Sikkah Al Hadid district, whose strategic location and flexible zoning regulations make it ideal for a multi-purpose development.
The development will be executed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, including a shopping mall, retail stores, a four-story healthcare facility, and entertainment spaces. By addressing the increasing demand for retail and healthcare services, the development aims to serve the needs of the local community and the city’s growing population.
The private sector will be fully responsible for designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining the mixed-use development including:
- A shopping mall including, fashion retailers, food and beverage outlets.
- Entertainment facilities.
- A state-of-the-art medical facility accommodating approximately 200 inpatient beds.
- Outpatient clinics, multi-specialty services, and ancillary facilities.
The Contract type will be Build – Own – Operate – Transfer (BOOT) and duration of the contract is 30 years.
