China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd. announces that it has received a letter of award from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC Gas), winning the bid for the UAE liquefied natural gas pipeline general contracting project.
The pipeline runs from the Habshan oil field in Abu Dhabi to the Ruwais Industrial Zone and is one of the main infrastructures of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) project being developed in the Ruwais Industrial Zone .
The project includes the construction of a new 56-inch diameter suction pipeline with a length of about 26 kilometers and a 52-inch diameter high-pressure output pipeline with a length of about 155 kilometers.
After completion, the pipeline will help Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOCGas) improve the modernization level of natural gas infrastructure and provide security for energy supply in the UAE and surrounding areas. This project is the largest project that the Pipeline Bureau has won in the UAE market, demonstrating the strong competitiveness of the Pipeline Bureau in the Middle East energy field, injecting new vitality into international energy cooperation under the “Belt and Road” initiative, and laying a solid foundation for the Pipeline Bureau to take root and expand the UAE oil and gas storage and transportation engineering market.
