In a significant step to strengthen industrial capabilities in the Kingdom, Saudi Engines Manufacturing Company (MAKEEN) and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries have signed a license agreement to manufacture HiMSEN dual fuel engines in Saudi Arabia.
The agreement was signed in Zurich, Switzerland by Mr. Sangkee Rhee, Executive Vice President of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, and Mr. Bader Al-Zoabi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of MAKEEN, in the presence of Mr. Mohammad Al-Shammary, Chairman of MAKEEN, and esteemed Board Managers.
Under the terms of the agreement, MAKEEN will manufacture HD Hyundai’s advanced HiMSEN dual fuel engines at its state-of-the-art facility in Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia. This strategic partnership will strengthen MAKEEN’s presence in engine manufacturing by providing customers with cutting-edge technologies.
