ACWA POWER, Saudi Arabia announces the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that falls under the Investment law in Uzbekistan with the “National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan” for Aral 5GW wind power project to be set up in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The contract is for 25 years and covers Build, Own, operate, and transfer until the end of the PPA, the company added.
It further noted that the project is in the development stage, and the total investment value (contract value) may change when it reaches financial close.
