Nama Power and Water Procurement (PWP), Oman invites Request For Qualification for the Development of a New Solar PV Independent Power Project (IPP) at Ibri, Sultanate Of Oman.
In line with Sultanate of Oman vision to diversify fuel sources and achieving net zero target by 2050 through the use of clean energy for power generation, PWP is planning to develop the fourth solar PV project with a capacity of 500 MW at Ibri (“Ibri III Solar IPP” or “Project”) in partnership with the private sector.
PWP is announcing the launch of the qualification process for interested developers through the issuance of the Request for Qualification (RFQ) document.
Statement of Qualification Submission Deadline is 19 February 2024, 10am, (Gulf Standard Time).
