Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) extends the RFQ deadline for the Round 4 Renewable Energy Projects.
SPPC sets the new submission date as 25 October 2022.
SPPC earlier during September 2022 issued the RFQ for Round 4 Renewable Energy Projects. These projects, with a total capacity of 3300 MW, include three projects to produce power by wind energy and two projects to produce power by solar energy.
The total capacity of Wind energy production projects for this phase is 1800 MW, distributed as follows:
- Yanbu Project with a capacity of 700 MW
- Al-Ghat Project with a capacity of 600 MW
- Waad Al Shamal Project with a capacity of 500 MW
The capacity of production projects from Solar energy amounts to 1500 MW, distributed as follows:
- Al Hanakia Project with a capacity of 1100 MW
- Tabarjal Project with a capacity of 400 MW
