Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company (HEISCO), Kuwait announced in a statement that it has secured Subcontract of Jurassic Production Facilities (JPF) 4 & 5.
The value of the contract is KWD 18.4 million (USD 60 million).
The 18 months Project will include the Construction Works of Jurassic Production Facilities (JPF) 4 & 5 located in North Kuwait.
The Project was awarded main EPC of JPF.
Earlier during 2021, Kuwait Oil Company awards the JPF 4 Project to Spetco International Petroleum Co, Kuwait and JPF 5 Project to Jereh Oil and Gas Engineering Co., Ltd.,
JPF will be an Onshore Surface Production Facility and shall be implemented on Build-Own-Operate basis by Contractor with an option to buy back by KOC.
Each of the Facility will be built for producing Fifty Thousand Barrels of Stock Tank Oil Per Day (50 STMBOPD) of treated sweet crude (Jurassic Light Oil with 40° – 50° API) and export one hundred and fifty Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (150 MMSCFD) of sweet and dehydrated rich gas by processing /handling of sour and wet gas reservoir fluids from NK Jurassic Fields.
Produced Water Treatment unit, Sulphur Recovery Unit along with associated utility/supporting systems are also part of this Facility.
