Dur Hospitality Co., Saudi Arabia announces the awarding and signing of a contract for the expansion and development project of Rixos Jeddah.
The Contract has been awarded to Al Murshid Group Contracting Co.
The value of the contract is SAR181.7 million (USD 48.4 million).
Scope of Works contains the expansion and development of a 174 hotel room, in addition to the works of gardens, outdoor infrastructure and swimming pools. The resort also includes two restaurants, a health club, an integrated children’s club, and banquet halls.
The duration of the project is 18 months.
The Contract is part of Dur Hospitality Co.’s strategic plan to enhance its position and leadership in the hospitality sector in the Kingdom at the level of the hospitality sector in the Kingdom, and with the aim of developing Rixos Jeddah Resort to become the first destination for luxury resorts in the city of Jeddah, and in line with efforts to improve the quality of life in the Kingdom as one of the objectives of the Kingdom’s vision 2030, statement mentioned.
