Al Baraka Oilfield Services SAOC, Oman announced in a statement that it has signed Well Services contract extension with Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO) during the Oman Petroleum and Energy Show (OPES) 2022 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Recently Al Baraka successfully commissioned two new electrical hoists, the first of their kind in Oman. In recognition of this incredible achievement, Al Baraka received a call out from PDO for four additional hoists which will be in place by end of 2022. This will bring the company’s Workover Rig fleet strength to a total of ten units.
It gives us confidence that through our continued efforts and commitment, Al Baraka is poised to achieve more and be able to continue to develop robust relationships with PDO and strengthen this bond over the coming years. We take the opportunity to celebrate this momentous accomplishment at the signing ceremony held in OPES 2022 on 21st March 2022 of the extension of the Workover Rig Contract formulated several years back between the two companies, statement mentioned.
