Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) received the bidders proposals for, Construction of Hail-4 380kV BSP and Construction of 380kV Overhead Transmission line for Taibah Power Plant.
Hail-4 380kV BSP:
Four Bidders has submitted the Proposals. Indian construction firm, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) submitted lowest bid. L&T submitted the price of SAR 251 million (USD 66.93 million).
Project scope of work includes construction of new indoor 380/132kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) named as Hail-4 380kV BSP in the central region of Saudi Arabia
Major equipment includes, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System, Telecommunication System, Security System, Cyber Security, Civil works and Electro-mechanical works. Project works also includes Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 380kV GIS, Power Transformers, Reactors supplied by SEC.
380kV OHTL for Taibah Power Plant:
Eight Bidders has submitted the Proposals. Indian construction firm, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) submitted lowest bid. L&T submitted the price of SAR 287 million (USD 76.54 million).
The project involves the design and construction of 380kV OHTL from the Taiba Power Plant to various SEC’s substations.
Approximate route length of OHTL is 165 km.
