The certification company Eurocompliance announced that Egis had obtained ISO 37001 certification across its entire perimeter worldwide, following an audit of the Group’s anti-bribery management system conducted at the end of 2021.
For several years Egis has been actively committed to fighting bribery and corruption through a policy of zero tolerance to all acts of corruption. The bribery and corruption risk is assessed annually through a review led by the Ethics and Compliance department, and conducted with all the Group’s entities.
In 2021, our Group decided to go a step further by entering into the ISO 37001 certification process. This globally-acknowledged standard helps organisations introduce the appropriate measures to prevent, detect and address bribery by establishing a culture of honesty, transparency and integrity. Since its publication in 2016, more than 1,000 companies have received certification around the world.
“We are particularly proud to be among the first French engineering groups to be certified ISO 37001 on a global level. This certification is the result of several years of work to continuously improve our anti-corruption practices and reinforce our culture of business ethics. This is a major asset to retain the trust of our many clients and partners all over the world, but also to gain access to new markets and thereby help us reach the targets set by our French and international growth strategy”, Laurent Germain, CEO of the Egis group Said.
