Al Sharif (Saudi Arabia), KEC International (India) JV awarded the project, “Construction of 380kV overhead transmission line (OHTL) between NIC Circle Substation and Duba Green Substation″ in NEOM.
The Project was awarded by Saudi Electricity Company.
The value of the contract is SAR 77.5million.
The project involves the design and construction of 380kV OHTL to connect the NIC Circle Substation with the network.
Approximate route length of total OHTL route is 28km.
The new OHTL will be installed on latticed steel tower in vertical configuration.
Contractor scope of works includes to perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
