ElSewedy Electric, Egypt announced in a statement that its subsidiary Egytech Cables has signed a new 132kV underground cable contract in Kuwait.
The value of the contract is KWD 8.49 million (USD 28 million).
The Projects was awarded by Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW), Kuwait.
The Project will help in the power transmission needed for Al Mutlaa Residential City, one of the main projects currently executing by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare.
The Scope of Works includes design, supply and installation of all works related to 132kV underground cables supplying power to Substations N3 and N4.
The duration of the project is 18 months and it will be implemented on turnkey basis.
