Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Bahrain received bidders proposals for the two solar power projects which will be constructed on Build Own Operate and Maintain (BOOM) basis.
5 MWac at Ministry of Education:
Four bidders has submitted the proposals.
Bahrain based, ARADOUS ENERGY GENERATIONS CO. company submitted the lowest bid. The company submitted the price of BHD 0.021.
Other companies who submitted the proposals includes Tarsheed energy Consultation and Services (BHD 0.023), YUSUF BIN AHMED KANOO W.L.L (BHD 0.031) and Isam Kabbani & Partners (BHD 0.033).
The Successful developer will Build Own Operate and Maintain (BOOM) a minimum capacity of 5 MWac grid-tied solar PV power plant on building rooftops and car park and EV charging stations at the Ministry of Education for a 20-Year period Contract.
2.5 MWac at Ministry of Labour & Social Development:
Following three bidders has submitted the proposals. Only Technical proposal details has been announced by the client.
