Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. announced in a statement that it has awarded the contract “Operation and Maintenance of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Project for Zamzam Water and all its Services” in the Holy City of Makkah.
The Project was awarded by National Water Company (NWC), Saudi Arabia.
The value of the contract is SAR 195.8 million (USD 52.2 million).
As part of the contract, Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. will manage, operate and maintain complete project’s facilities which include all components related to Zamzam water well, preform plant, bottling plant, and distribution center for 60 months.
The statement mentioned that, financial impact of the project is expected to take place starting the 1st quarter of year 2022. The company will announce any future developments in this regard at the time, especially after receiving the final version of the agreement contract signed by all parties concerned.
