Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co., Saudi Arabia announced in a statement that it has awarded two contracts related to supply of steel towers for 380 kV, 500kV transmission lines.
The value of the contract is SAR 292 million (USD 77.7 million).
The Project was awarded by Hyundai Engineering & Construction Company, South Korea.
As part of the contract, the company will Supply steel towers for the construction of 380 KV line between the new Afif BSP and Mahd BSP , the second contract the supply of steel towers for the construction of a 500 KV of electricity interconnection project between The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt -phase III – western region.
The duration of the contract is 12 months.
Earlier, Hyundai awarded the projects 380kV line between the new Afif BSP and Mahd BSP and 500kV electricity interconnection project between The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt by Saudi Electricity Company.
