Al Ojaimi secured $20.3million 132kV Cable project

Al-Ojaimi Contracting Establishment, Saudi Arabia signed the project “Installation of 132kV Cable to connect Substation 8367 and 8368”. The location of the project is in Riyadh.

The project has been awarded by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).

The contract value of the project is SAR 76.2 million (USD 20.3 million )

Project Scope of work includes supply and Installation 132kV, 1200 Sq.mm, single circuit, Copper XLPE cable between the substation 8367 and 8368 with the SEC’s existing substations.

The approximate route length between the substations is 27.3km. Scope of Work also includes supply and Installation fibre optic cables.

The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the project.

The Project completion period will be 22 months.
