Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG, Oman announced in a statement that it has awarded the contract for Road Instatement works and Repair of Damages caused by Tropical Cyclone Shaheen at Al Batinah Highway.
The Project was awarded by Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Oman.
The value of the contract is approximately OMR 9 million (USD 23.4 million).
The award of the project comes within the national efforts aimed at handling the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Shaheen on the Main Al Batinah Road, statement mentioned.
The duration of the contract is 16 months.
