Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group announced in a statement that its subsidiary Al Muhammadiyah Hospital for Healthcare Company has awarded enabling and structural works contract for the Al Muhammadiyah Hospital in Jeddah City.
The Project was awarded to United Standards Company.
The contract value is SAR 311 million ($83 million).
The statement said the project is expected to commence operations in 2024, adding that the Group intends to finance the project through internal resources and by long-term Shariah-compliant facilities from local banks.
In 2019, the company had announced that the North Jeddah Hospital will be built on an area of 24,128m2 owned by the Group with an estimated total built-up area of 233,970m2. The Group
aims to make North Jeddah Hospital an integrated hospital to provide healthcare services through 270 clinics and 350 beds.
North Jeddah Hospital is located on Prince Sultan street in Al Muhammadiyah District in Jeddah City in the western region of the Kingdom.
The duration of the contract is 18 months.
