Alfanar Construction Company secured the project “Installation of 380kV Reactors at Al Jouf 380kV Substation. The location of project is in Al Jouf, norther region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The project has been awarded by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). The contract value of the project is SAR 99.7 million (1$=3.75 SAR)
Project Scope of work includes Installation of 380kV Line Shunt Reactors with the required 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear (HGIS), Surge arresters, cables, civil works at existing Al Jouf 380kV Substation including complete protection, metering, control, communication and modification.
The new equipment installed shall be equipped with Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA system, communication System and gateway.
The total duration of Project is 20 months.
The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the project.
