SRJ Technologies, Australia announced in a statement that it has been awarded a contract by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to design, manufacture and install pipeline asset integrity solutions for pipeline/flange/valve systems on Das Island.
This is Phase 1 of a ‘Fast Track’ project with ANDOC and mark’s SRJ’s first order in the UAE.
Phase 1 of the contract will see SRJ deliver engineering and design solutions, while Phase 2, which is set to begin in November, will include manufacturing and installation services which are expected to be completed by the end of December.
The project will enable ANDOC the use of adjoining facilities by eliminating the risk of gas leaks.
Phase 1 of the project covers the site survey and design engineering.
Phase 2 comprises the manufacture and installation of approximately 25-30 of SRJ’s pipeline/flange/valve leak mitigation systems.
An additional purchase order from ANDOC is anticipated for phase 2.
