Saudi based Construction Company, PACOST International, a subsidiary of ORA Holding Group has submitted the lowest bid for the project, ” Construction of Munsiyah 132/13.8kV Substation – 8126 in Riyadh”.
PACost submitted the price of SAR 87.9 million (USD 23.4 million)
The tender was issued by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
Project involves the construction a new indoor 132/13.8kV Gas Insulated Substation in Munsiyah with the major equipment of 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 50/67 MVA, 132/13.8kV Power Transformers, 13.8 Switchgear, 13.8kV Shunt Capacitor Filter Bank, 500kVA, 13.8kV/400V-230V Station Service Transformers, AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply, Control/Protection System, Substation Automation System (SAS), Communication System, Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System, Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works, Security System.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new substation works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor need to achieve the final acceptance of the work within 25 months from the awarded date of contract.
