Oman based Construction firm, Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG announced in a statement that, it has awarded a Gas Pipeline Segregation contract.
The project has been awarded by OQ Exploration & Production LLC.
The value of signed contract is OMR 40million (USD 104 million).
As per the terms of the contract, Galfar will execute the project project on EPC basis, for Central 48” Rich and Lean Gas Pipeline Segregation Project at the client’s concession areas.
The project will be completed in 42 months including maintenenace period.
“It is expected that this contract will contribute to the Company revenues and further strengthen our presence in Oil and Gas and high capacity pipeline projects,” Dr. Hamoud Rashid Al Tobi, the Chief Executive Officer of Galfar said.
“We take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the OQ Group for the confidence vested on Galfar through award of this critical contract,” the statement added.
