CEPCO, Saudi Arabia awarded the contract related to relocate and diversion of underground Cables up to 380kV in Western region of Saudi Arabia.
The Project was awarded by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
Due to the vast growth of the infrastructure and the development plans, it was decided to shift, relocate/divert parts of the existing Underground (UG) Power Cables from the vicinity of newly constructed/ to be constructed facilities such as new roads, highways, rail ways and/or bridges in the Western Operating Areas.
For each portion of UG cables to be diverted/shifted/relocated, CONTRACTOR shall prepare all detailed drawings, engineer, survey, procure, supply and deliver all equipment and materials to the site, construct, install, test and commission the UG cables and communication systems.
Work locations include main cities of Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Taif, NW and the surrounding areas.
Scope of Works include Installation of XLPE/LPOF Power Cables, Installation of cable splices/joints, link boxes, terminations, for XLPE and LPOF cables, Installation of grounding or earthing materials and equipment, Related Earth Work, Removal of existing Cable Systems and transfer to SEC store.
