Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) issued tender for Operation and Maintenance services for North Kuwait Heavy Oil facilities, part of Lower Fars Development Program.
The Lower Fars Development Program in North Kuwait Project is a Heavy Oil Development Project for processing and exporting Heavy Oil hydrocarbons produced from the Lower Fars reservoir from the North Kuwait South Ratqa Heavy Oil field. Development is based on Thermal Oil recovery utilizing Steam generation and injection.
The Lower Fars Development Program in North Kuwait South Ratqa Field infrastructure consists of a Central Processing Facility [CPF]; 2 infield Satellite Stations [ISS’s]; approx. 1500 wells and associated infield infrastructure; Crude oil storage and Export facilities with a dedicated export pipeline to the South Tank Farm (170 km); a fuel gas supply line from Kadma (80 km); a water supply line from Sulaibiya Waste Water Treatment Plant (120 km), and an associated off plot administration complex with workshops.
The CPF includes the main Hydrocarbon Processing Facilities, Utility systems, as well as Water Treatment and Steam generating facilities; a control room; an administration complex with a Training and Administration building; a Maintenance Workshop; a Warehouse and further infrastructure to support facility Operations. All Hydrocarbon export lines up to tie in’s to existing facilities; source water and effluent reinjection wells and all related interconnected facilities.
Infield Satellite Stations (ISS) and Pipelines include all Production and Steam Injection facilities together with the Hydrocarbon gathering and power distribution systems;
For the South Tank Farm 4 additional Crude export tanks, a control centre and 2 mixing manifolds are included.
Interested bidders can get complete bid documents upon the payment of tender fee of KWD 5000.
Bidders need to submit a tender security of KWD 450,000 along with the proposals.
