Ministry of Electricity & Water, Kuwait issued the tender for Supply & installation of 300kV cables in Sabah Hospital Area.
Project Scope of Works includes Supply and installation of one 300 kV cable circuit in concrete trough comprising six 1600 sq.mm. 1/Core 300 kV XLPE cable (2 cable/ph), one bonding and earthing cables, and one optical fiber cable (UGOP) containing 48 fibers (G655) including all accessories, (12) SF6 indoor sealing end terminations, joint pits, road crossing, cable cover tiles, cable protection net, warning tapes, link boxes.
Approximate route length of the circuit is as follows:
- Between SHPT”W” Substation and KIFN”W” Substation : 7.5km
- Between SHPT”W” Substation and SHKH”W” Substation : 1km
- Between SALM “AW” Substation and JABR “AW” Substation : 4.5km
Project scope of works also includes removal of one 300kV Cable between SALM “AW” Substation and JABR “AW” Substation of length 4.25km
Interested bidders can get complete bid documents upon the payment of tender fee of KWD 3500.
Bidders need to submit a tender security of KWD 220,000 along with the proposals.
At present, bid submission date is 31 August 2021.
