Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) issued the tenders for Construction of 380/132kV Substation and associated 380kV Overhead transmission line (OHTL) at NEOM, western coast of Saudi Arabia.
Project scope of work includes construction of new indoor 380/132kV Gas Insulated Substation named as NIC Circle 380/132kV BSP.
Major equipment includes, 380kV GIS, 132kV GIS, 502MVA Power Transformers, Reactors, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System, Telecommunication System, Security System, Cyber Security, Civil works and Electro-mechanical works.
Project Scope of Works also includes expansion of Duba Green BSP by adding new 380kV GIS.
Constriction of 380kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) connecting the New Substations with the Grid is issued as part of another tender. Approximate route length of 380kV OHTL is 46.5km.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
