Salalah Sanitary Drainage Services Company SAOC, Oman invites bids for the Construction of Bio Methane based power plant and Solar PV plant to be located in Dhofar Governorate, Salalah Wilayat.
The invitation states that, the RFP submission is to be modeled upon a “Finance Design Build Own Operate and Transfer (FDBOOT)” format.
The Vendor is expected to design, finance and build the Power Plant for the sole use of the Client.
He is also expected to operate the plant for a limited contract period as defined in the RFP.
At the end of the said contract period or upon a pro rata buy back by the Client return the Power Plant to the Client in good acceptable working order.
The Client will “Wet Lease”, the Power Plant and shall consume the power it generates. The Vendor shall be compensated in terms of a formula defined in the RFP.
Interested bidders can obtain the complete bid documents upon payment of tender fee OMR 1500.
Bidders need to submit 2% of the tender value towards tender security along with the proposals.
At present bid submission date is 25 July 2021.
