Eagle Hills Sharjah, a joint venture between Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Eagle Hills, announced in a statement that it has launched Shams Residences on Maryam Island, a first-of-its-kind luxury waterfront development in Sharjah’s Al Khan and Al Mamzar districts.
Situated along the Maryam Island Boulevard, Shams Residences is designed with a contemporary spin on the traditional architecture of the region.
The 59-units building is located within the Maryam Gate Residences community, the second phase of the Maryam Island mega-development.
It covers 6,637 sq m of gross floor area, and is in very close proximity to the retail offerings and the beaches of Mamzar and Al Khan.
Maryam Island, the AED4.5-billion ($1.22 billion) mega development, overlooks the Arabian Gulf and offers residential apartments set amidst a wealth of upscale experiences and amenities. It is an exclusive hideaway situated in the heart of bustling Sharjah, featuring a ‘souq’ and various facilities such as a spa, a fitness club, a swimming pool, and a children’s play area.
All apartments use a striking colour and material scheme, with studios, one, two and three-bedroom units enjoying a light palette to maximise the sense of space and openness, while the four-bedroom penthouse uses darker hues to create an exceptional, premium look.
Eagle Hills CEO Low Ping said: “The launch of Shams Residences marks an important step for us as Maryam Island begins to take shape. The new building, located in downtown Sharjah, is within walking distance of pristine beaches, and is complete with unparalleled views and stunning design, promising residents intimate community living like no other.”
