The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) awarded the project for construction of Zirku Runway Strip Integrity Project in Zirku Island.
The project has been awarded to UAE baed construcion firm, Al Geemi and Partners Contracting Company LLC.
The value of singed contract is AED 55.5 million (USD 15.1 million).
The Project involves design, construction, testing and commissioning works for the Zirku Runway.
The Project is located at Zirku Island in the Arabian Gulf, within the maritime territories of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). It is 140 km north-west of Abu Dhabi City.
Zirku Island is an operating base of ADNOC Offshore, previously Zakum Field Development Company hosting a permanent population of around 4,000 people. The PROJECT plot area is approx. 0.60 Sq. km.
The duration of the contract is 10 months.
