Penspen awarded construction contract for 51 ADNOC onshore wells

Global Oil & Gas firm, Penspen announced in a statement that it has awarded the procurement and construction of flowlines and wellhead installations for 51 wells in ADNOC Onshore’s oilfields at Shah, Qusahwira and Mender in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Project was awarded by main EPC Galfar Engineering & Contracting Emirates.

The scope of the project is to increase the crude oil production from the oilfields whilst ensuring timely delivery of multiple type of wells in task order.

The exercise will see Penspen, with its extensive experience from similar projects, cover the design and detailed engineering of different types of wells, including gas lift, water alternating gas (WAG), electrical submersible pump (ESP), water injection and water disposal wells. Additionally, Penspen will support Galfar with project delivery to ensure that time, quality and budget is met by June 2025.

The duration of the contract is Four Years.

This project is second award from Galfar in recent months. Earlier, during November 2020, Penspen, awarded detailed engineering contract for Haliba oil field project on the south-east border of Abu Dhabi. (read more)
