Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for the project, Installation of STATCOM at 9097 Switching station in Riyadh.
Six bidders has submitted the proposals. India based construction firm, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has submitted the lowest bid.
L&T submitted the price of SAR 116 million (USD 30.9 million).
Project scope of work includes, Installation of one (1) No of +300 MVAR (Capacitive) and -300 MVAR (Inductive) 380kV DRPC comprising of VSC only at new Switching Station -1 BSP# 9097 in Central Region.
Installation of DRPC Transformers, Reactors, Resistors, VSC Controller, Cooling System, Switchgear, Auxiliary System, SAS, Protection, Control and all other requirements are part of the project.
Project completion period is 26 months.
