Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announced the tender results for the construction of 380kV Switching Substation, 9098. The Projects location is in Riyadh.
Seven bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction firm, Al-Babtain Contracting Company submits the lowest bid.
Al-Babtain submitted the price of SAR 294.9 million (USD 78.6 million).

Project scope of work also includes the expansion of 9053 BSP by providing 380kV Hybrid GIS, 380kV-100MVAR Reactors and associated modifications.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 27 months from Contract Signing Date.
