Electricity & Water Authority (EWA), Bahrain awarded the project “Establishment of New System Control Centre (SCC) – Building Works”
The Project was awarded to Bahrain based construction company, Cebarco Bahrain.
The value of the contract is BHD 8.6 million (USD 22.9 million)

The new System Control Centre (SCC) will replace the existing System Control Centre that was constructed in the Eighties of last Century, which underwent several upgrades to meet networks expansions.
The existing SCC will be converted into an Emergency Control Centre (ECC) used as a back-up in case of emergency.
The complete scope of the Project will be implemented under two Work Packages, namely SCADA System Works Package and Building Works Package.
