Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for the project, Installation of 380kV and 132kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) at Amaala, the ultra-luxury destination located along north western coast of Saudi Arabia.
Ten bidders has submitted the proposals. Saud based Construction firm, Arabian Electrical Transmission Line Contracting (AETCON) has submitted the lowest bid.
AETCON submitted the price of SAR 169.8 million (USD 45,2 million).
The project involves the design and construction of 380kV OHTL to connecting the Amaala BSP and Al Wajah BSP.
Approximate route length of 380kV OHTL is 68 km.
The project also involves the design and construction of 132kV OHTL to connecting the Amaala BSP and Miraya, Triple Bay Substation.
The project involves using of 4-795 kcmil ACSR/AW CONDOR conductor per phase and two (2) OPGW along the length of the new line.
The new OHTL will be installed on latticed steel tower in vertical configuration.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor need to complete the project activities within 24 months from the date of contract award.
