Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for the project “Construction of 115/13.8kV NATA-2 Substation”
The Project locations will be in Nata, Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia.
Nineteen bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based Construction Company, JAL International Company has submitted the lowest bid.
JAL submitted the price of SAR 56,960,000 (USD 15,189,333).
115/13.8kV Substation, NATA-2:
Project involves the construction a new indoor 115/13.8kV Gas Insulated Substation in NATA with the following major equipment
- 115kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
- 50/67 MVA, 115/13.8kV Power Transformers – Supplied by SEC
- 13.8 Switchgear
- 500kVA, 13.8kV/400V-230V Station Service Transformers
- Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System
- Power, Control Cables and Terminations
- AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply
- Surge Arresters
- Control/Protection System,
- Substation Automation System (SAS)
- Communication System
- Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System
- Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works
- Security System
- Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) of route length 4.15km
Dismantling of existing NATA substation and 115kV OHTL is also part of the contract.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new substation works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor need to achieve the final acceptance of the work within 27 months from the awarded date of contract.
