Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announced the bid results for Construction of Miraya and Triple Bay 132/33kV Substations at Amaala, the ultra-luxury destination located along north western coast of Saudi Arabia
Five bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction firm, Alfanar Construction has submitted the lowest bid.
Alfanar submitted the price of SAR 149.4million (USD 39.8 million).

The proposed substations will be feed the power to Amaala utilities.

- AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply
- Control/Protection System
- Substation Automation System (SAS)

- Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System
- Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works
- HCIS Security System
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 25 months from Contract Signing Date.
