Al Toukhi secures Installation of 380kV Reactors contract at Arar

Al Toukhi Company for Industry, trading and Contracting signed an EPC contract for the Installation of 380kV Reactors at Arar Substation.

The Project was awarded by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).

The value of signed contract is SAR 36,300,000.

Project scope of work involves the installation of two (2) 380kV Line connected Reactors, 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear, 380kV Outdoor equipment, Power Cables & accessories at the existing Arar BSP in northern region of Saudi Arabia.

It includes protection, control, communication and SAS/SCADA systems. The BSP shall be equipped with IEC 61850 standards based technically and economically optimized Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the SEC Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA and Communication.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

Contractor need to achieve the final acceptance of the work within 20 months from the date of contract signed.
