Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company (NWC) announced in a statement to submit the contractors qualification for the upcoming project to implement more than 500,000 water and wastewater connections across various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As per the statement, national companies and establishments specialized having experience in the infrastructure of water and wastewater networks can apply for the program.
NWC noted that applicants for the pre-qualification should attach all documents showing their previous experience and prove their administrative competence and technical capabilities in the implementation of similar projects in addition to the expertise and competence of their human resources, and financial statements.
While evaluating the contractors qualification, In addition to the above requirements, NWC will also evaluate safety, occupational health and environmental protection requreients.
The company stated that the project includes 13 agreements covering all regions of the Kingdom, to implement more than 269,000 water connections and more than 232,000 wastewater connections,
The implementation period of these projects will take up to three years.
NWC invited contractors to submit, register and qualify by January 1, 2021 through its official website.
