Kuwait Ports Authority received the bids for the upgradation of Shuaiba Port package.
Eight bidders has submitted the proposals. Kuwait based construction firm, Wara Construction Company has submitted the lowest bid.
Wara Construction has submitted the price of KWD 14,942,526.840 (USD 48,943,997).
The Tender was issued by Kuwait Port Authotity during August 2020.
Project scope of work includes Upgrading & Expansion of Infrastructure Works and Electrical Substations at Shuaiba Port.
Construction, refurbishment, completion and maintenance of the buildings and services listed below, together with the fabrication, supply, installation and maintenance of equipment, external works will be part of the project
- Substations
- Pump Stations
- 3.8 mega liter elevated water storage reservoir
- Sewerage System (Vacuum Sewer)
- Salt Water System
- Fresh Water System
- Storm Water System
- Electrical Works
- Roads Works and pavements
Australia based SMEC International Pty Ltd is providing the consultancy services to the Kuwait Port Authority.
