Electricity & Water Authority, Bahrain awarded the Water Transmission Project Associated with Al Dur IWPP Phase II .
The Project has been awarded to UAE based construction firm, Tecton Engineering & Construction LLC
The value of signed contract is BHD 19,324,877.880.
Earlier, during July 2020, EWA received the bidders proposals (read more).
The works under this contract relate to water storage and transmission facilities at AlDur Forwarding Station(FS).
The works include detailed engineering design, construction, testing and commissioning of proposed water storage and transmission network.
The works also include Constrictions of two new ground storage tanks of 20 MIG capacity each, new pumping station facility of approximately 35 MIGD capacity as an extension to existing station, all associated ancillary Civil, MEICA, control and SCADA.
