Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (Works Affairs), Bahrain awarded design and supervision contract for “South Bahrain Loop Road (SBLR) Stage 2”
The contract awarded to Global engineering firm, Parsons Global Services Limited.
The value of signed contract is BHD 1,052,520 (USD 2,799,255).
The Ministry earlier awarded the constrcution contract of value $64.7 million to two companies (read more)
South Bahrain Loop Road scope of work involves the construction of road link between Gulf of Bahrain Road with Al Sahel Development.
The approximate length of the road works is 10km.
The new road will be constructed as a dual two-lane carriageway with links to the proposed service road network that is close to the existing shoreline developments.
