Oman Dates Production and Packaging Company announces the bid results for the project “construction of Dates factory In Barka”.
Nineteen bidders has submitted the proposals. Oman based construction firm, Al Salsabeel Trading and Contracting Establishment has submitted the lowest bid.
Al Salsabeel has submitted the price of OMR 13,900,000 (USD 36,150,845).
The factory is estimated to construct on area of 100,000sq m.
Oman earlier announces that the production capacity of the factory in the first stage will reach 30,000 tonnes annually, in the second stage it will reach 50,000 tonnes, and the last stage 80,000 tonnes.
It has plans to build six collection centers in six governorates in addition to the main factory which aims to collect, store and extract raw materials, re-manufacture, package and market locally and globally.
Oman already awarded the lead consultant services to STI Engineering, Italy of value $3.3 million.
The site preparation contract for the factory was awarded to Oasis Grace.
