Saudi Arabia’s Amaala, the ultra-luxury destination located along north western coast, has awarded a design and build contract for the construction of the first stage of the Triple Bay Village.
The Project has been awarded to Saudi based construction firm, Tamimi Global Company (Tafga).
The contract also includes the second and third stages of civil and infrastructure works for the Village.
Triple Bay is one the three unique communities that will represent three different sets of experiences for Amaala visitors apart from the Coastal Development and The Island communities.
Triple Bay will offer a fully holistic wellness retreat, state-of-the-art diagnostic medical facilities and authentic treatments designed to incorporate elements from the local environment. It will also be home to a fully integrated sports and entertainment community.
Catering to a total occupancy of 15,552 upon completion, each stage will address the needs of 5,184 future residents. The world-class accommodations will also be home to a full range of community facilities catering to the diverse needs of on-site staff, said the statement from Amaala.
In line with the sustainability goals set forth in the Amaala’s sustainability goals, the development of the Construction Village will employ off-site fabrication and modular construction techniques, thereby reducing environmental impact of both fabrication and installation of the village.
Earlier, during June 2020, Saudi Arabian Parsons Limited (Parsons) secured the construction supervision contract and the Saudi Real estate Infrastructure Company Binyah, awarded the contract related to excavation, backfilling, and earthworks required to achieve the formation levels and grading of Phase I of the Triple Bay masterplan.(read more)
