Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for the project “Installation of 380kV reactors at Hail-3 Substation”.
The Project location is in Hail, Central region of Saudi Arabia.
A total of three companies has submitted the proposals. German based construction firm, Siemens Company has submits the lowest bid.
Siemens has submitted the price of SAR 57.3 million.
Project scope of work involves the installation of 380kV Bus connected Reactors at the existing Hail-3 BSP.
It includes protection, control, communication and SAS/SCADA systems. The BSP shall be equipped with IEC 61850 standards based technically and economically optimized Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the SEC Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA and Communication.
Major equipment includes, 380kV GIS modifications, Bus connected Reactors, 380kV Hybrid GIS, modification on AC/DC, LV auxiliary supply, protection, metering, control SCADA & telecommunication, civil and electromechanical works.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor need to achieve the final acceptance of the work within 20 months from the date of contract signed.
