Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for the project “Construction of 110kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) for interconnection of Al Salam Substation and Bawat Substation” in Madinah region.
A total of eight bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction company, Raissy Trading Company, has submitted the lowest bid.
Raisssy Company has submitted the price of SAR 52.9 million.
The project involves the design and construction of two (2) 110kV OHTL to connect the Al Salam Substation and Bawat Substation..
Approximate route length of total OHTL route is 50km.
Project scope of work also includes 1km of 110kV,2000 Sq.mm cable and associated modifications.
The new OHTL will be installed on latticed steel tower in vertical configuration.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
