SEC invite bids for 230kV OHTL at South Ghawar Gas Separation Plant

Saudi Electricity Company invites bid for the construction of 230kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) to feed the power supply to South Ghawar Gas Separation Plant.

The project involves the design and construction of two (2) 230kV OHTL between the South Ghawar Gas Separation Plant Substation and Ghazal Substation.

Approximate route length of total OHTL route is 61 km.

The project involves using of  two 795 kcmil ACSR/AW CONDOR conductor per phase and two (2) OPGW along the length of the new line.

The new OHTL will be installed on latticed steel tower in vertical configuration.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

Contractor need to complete the project activities within 23 months from the date of contract award.
