Ministry of Housing, Bahrain awarded the project for Construction of Housing units at Al Madina Al Shamaliya (AMAS) island.
The project has been awarded to the joint venture of Airolink Building Contracting L.L.C, (UAE) and Al Moayyed Contracting W.L.L (Bahrain).
The value of two project is BHD 62,474,715.
As part of the contract, the companies will execute the following two projects:
- Construction and Maintenance of 400 Social apartments units in Al Madinat Salman (AMAS) island 10, Plot 24, 25,27 and 28.
- Construction and Maintenance of 282 Social apartments units in Al Madinat Salman (AMAS) island 10, Plot 30 and Island 11, plot 2.
Al Madina Al Shamaliya, is a group of 10 reclaimed islands situated on the northern coastline of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The islands are located within a twenty-minute drive of Manama city and a ten-minute drive from the Seef District.
The overall site covers approximately 750 hectares. Al Madina Al Shamaliya will provide a total of 15,519 dwelling units with the capacity to support a total residential population of 98,935 people.
Earlier, Bahrain’s Chapo group secures an order of $160 million for construction and maintenance of 720 housing units for AMAS island 11, plot 17 and 18. (read more)
