DEWA receives the lowest bid of $37 million for Water Reservoir in Hatta

Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) announces the bid results for the project ” Construction of Water Reservoir in Hatta”.

The project location is in Hatta area, which is 134 km east of Dubai City. It is located relatively high in the Hajar Mountains.

The recervoir capacity is 30 million imperial gallons a day (MIGD).

A total of twelve bidders has submitted the proposals. UAE based construction firm, Ghantoot Energy & Water LLC has submitted the lowest bid.

Ghantoot Energy submitted the price of AED 136,162,163.51 (1 AED = 0.272294 USD).

The sucessful contractor need to execute the project within 24 months. 

Earlier, DEWA awarded $391million Hatta Hydroelectric Power Station Project of capacity 250MW to the consortium. (read more)
